The Mary Mahoney Health Center
at Langston offers:
Laboratory & X-Ray Services
Anemia, blood sugar testing, sexually transmitted disease
testing, urine test, TB test, HIV testing, and many other
tests are available. X-Rays are available by referral.
Adolescent Services
Adolescents have special needs. To accommodate these needs,
the Center offers a special registration system. Health
promotion and outreach are available to schools, churches
and civic groups.
Older Adults Services
Functional assessments and care management are provided by
our Case Manager.
Transportation
Courtesy transportation is available to and from the Center
for those who request it. Clients must reside within fifteen
mile radius and have no other means for getting to the
Center.
Health Education
School, community, and church group education on a full
range of health-related topics can be arranged. Diabetes
self-management education classes are held for families and
individuals living with diabetes.
Behavioral Health Care
Professional counseling services are provided to
individuals, families and groups who are coping with stress
anger management, developmental issues, etc.
Nutritional Counseling
Diet counseling for weight control, diabetes and
hypertension control may be arranged. Proper nutrition
according to stage of development is available.
Outreach Workers
Provide assistance with registration for services and health
education.
